It’s hard to believe we are already almost a quarter of the way through 2021!

2020 was a cracker of a year at Protoblast and put us on a strong foot going into this year. We thought we would share some of the projects accomplished over the last 12 months.

Out with the Old and in with the New

This customer in central west NSW had a 20 year old Protoblast machine that was still working but not able to keep up with the other modern machines so it was time to upgrade to a higher production machine. The old machine is being kept and the customer plans to use it in another section of his business that is growing and is in need of a blast machine. This is a testament to the design and build of the Protoblast machinery still going strong after 20 years with parts and service still available.

Do not let size fool you

This neat little system still has the ability to punch with the big guys. This customer on the Sunshine Coast in QLD was after something that wouldn’t take up a lot of valuable floor space but still produce an efficient and top-quality surface finish. This is a perfect setup for the custom body shop sitting nicely alongside the oven.

The Ultimate System

This Full Floor Recovery Blast Chamber is installed in Adelaide SA. The customer built the blast chamber and did the install while Protoblast did the Abrasive Recovery System and Dust Collector. These full floor recovery systems are the ultimate setups in the Abrasive Blasting world with no clean up time. These can be set up with rail systems, heavy grating for running forklifts through or both.

Nothing is an Issue for Protoblast

This customer in North QLD needed to bring his blasting in house but was worried about the noise being so close to other workers. No problem for Protoblast – we will wrap it in sound deadening material. This made a big difference and also makes it look impressive. It has a simple sweep-in abrasive recovery and 6,000cfm dust collector.
