What you can expect from Protoblast’s after sales service and support

You have read about the Protoblast Advantage. You know about the quality of our equipment and that our systems are still performing 30 years on. You may have even seen the calibre of clients we serve. But there is one more question on your mind – perhaps the most important one yet – what is the after sales service and support really like?

It’s a great question. We have all felt the disillusionment of being fussed over through the sales process, only never to be contacted again after you have made the purchase. But that’s not how we do business here at Protoblast. Instead, we believe in creating long-term customer relationships that endure for the life of our equipment.

So, let’s answer that question, shall we? Here’s what you can expect from Protoblast’s after sales service and support:

Onsite installation, testing and training

To ensure you are up and running as quickly as possible, we provide a complete end-to-end process. This means that the design, build, logistics, installation, commissioning and training are all included in the service we provide.

Our technicians check each component individually in our commitment to high quality, assemble it, and then perform a test before your installation to ensure everything is working as it should. Training is then conducted onsite to ensure your team is confident and capable of operating the machinery safely and effectively.

Regular equipment servicing

While our machines and equipment have been designed and built to minimise maintenance, our fully qualified technicians provide regular equipment servicing to ensure peak operational performance and minimise unexpected and costly downtime.

As part of our service processes, we test run equipment. This includes performing a functionality audit to check both the operational and safety system. A full maintenance service report is provided upon completion, and a technician will walk you through any issues noted in the report.

Blast chamber health checks

While we design and build large blast chambers, we also offer our customers the ability to purchase workshop drawings to build the blasting cabinet themselves. In addition, to ensure the blast chamber is right and all factors have been considered, we offer comprehensive blast chamber health checks.

This involves a thorough 42-point check to enable any issues to be identified and rectified to prevent costly breakdowns. A complete health check report is provided upon completion, and a technician will walk you through any problems noted in the report.

High-quality, locally made parts

As all of our parts are locally made, we have spare parts in stock and readily available in the event of a breakdown occurring. This ensures you are back up and running as soon as possible, without lengthy delays due to limited stock availability or shipping hold ups.

Our stock range includes all spare parts for our products and most of the parts for complimentary products that are supplied with our systems. In addition, stock standard typical items such as blast hoses, helmet lenses, couplings, valves and filters, standard dust collector filters, conveyor and elevator parts, and safety supplies are all kept in large supply, along with parts for our wheel machines.
