We are Abrasive Blasting Engineers
About Our Business
Established in 1975, Protoblast is the leading manufacturer of abrasive blasting plant & equipment.
As a third-generation family business of abrasive blasting engineers, we offer 45 years of experience in the design, manufacture and custom engineering of Abrasive Blasting Plant & Equipment.
Whilst having our own standard products, we have an emphasis on specialised machines, cabinets and chambers designed to suit particular requirements. We’re proud that the Protoblast airless blast machines have been used for a wide variety of applications, with products as diverse as steel ingot moulds to polyurethane water ski cores, being successfully processed in Protoblast machinery.
Protoblast has the capability to complete any project entirely in-house, however some customers avail themselves of Protoblast’s design service to fabricate a chamber, while still purchasing the abrasive recovery and ventilation equipment from Protoblast.
The Protoblast team are a wholly Australian owned company and we are dedicated to refining the foundational technology and applying our innovation to develop the next best blast chamber adaptations. With superior solutions, our outcomes aim for lower operating costs, and our safety conditions and monitoring from beginning to end, ensures the safest practises at all times.
We help you save money, offering superior reliability and durability through products built to last and perform with maximum effect. Thus, reducing the repair and maintenance costs in the operational lifespan of our machinery.
We, at Protoblast, have also supplied specialised cabinets and air blast machines, which have been used to blast a wide variety of products, ranging from rocket tubes to sanding belts.
We are based in Picton NSW; however, we operate throughout all regions of Australia via a network of Protoblast agents. This includes Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, Northern Territory and Victoria. We have also exported machinery to New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, the United States and the Middle East.
